Triluma

Educating to drive engagement

Research showed that 90% of people that develop melasma, a common pigmentation disorder that causes brown or gray patches on skin, primarily identify as women, which makes sense since the condition is often triggered by birth control pills, pregnancy and hormone therapy. Research also showed many people don’t realize they even have melasma, which can lead to mistreatment or worsening if left untreated. The launch of Triluma, a topical therapy for the short-term treatment of the dark spots associated with melasma, meant educating a broad range of women.

The Triluma launch program included a digital hub that shared the causes and symptoms of the condition, a melasma check text, a video library, Q&A and link to a Derm Finder to help engaged prospects locate a skin care professional in their area.
