Bon-Ton
Driving acquisition and easy engagement through customer-centric digital hubs
With the holidays quickly approaching, Bon-Ton wanted a marketing program to support chain-wide promotions, increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition—developed in less than a month. So we wrote, designed, built and launched an interactive ‘Holiday Hub’ for each of the seven Bon-Ton nameplates—Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers—to support featured and ongoing promotions, viral referral and data capture. Elements included a holiday blog, wish list and referral emails. The program was so successful, Bon-Ton extended our engagement to develop a ambassador loyalty program and a fully interactive bridal program.
Success
During the 24-day holiday promotion period, more than 20,000 coupons were downloaded from the Holiday Hub, more than 20,000 names and addresses were collected, and more than 15,000 visitors opted into the CRM program for ongoing communications.
