Speaking our target’s language to overcome behavioral barriers
Consumer research showed two key targets for acne treatment outreach—teens and young adults—but embarrassment about addressing the condition was a treatment barrier for both. So we found a way to share a serious message about the root cause of acne in a teen-friendly way, helping overcome self-consciousness and shame and accelerating the path to treatment.
Getting zits isn't your fault. It's because of biology. But there are ways to beat breakouts.
We redesigned the website, added relevant gaming, created cross-platform banners and even made a mobile app to help users track progress to clearer skin.
